My first few posts are going to be playing catch-up. The first time I took some shots with my camera was on July 17th when my friend, Megan, and I took our dogs to the dog park.
Penny is my dog--she is a German Sheperd Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. She's a great and loyal companion and has so much personality (you should see her "play dead"). Hard for me to believe that she'll be 2 years old on September 15th! You'll see that she's forced to be my photography subject quite often -- she does a great job of putting up with me :)

Lucy is Megan's dog. She's a Lab Shepherd mix and is not quite a year old yet! All of that puppy energy--it's a good thing that dog parks exist, otherwise we'd exhaust ourselves trying to wear these girls out!
As you can imagine, it's pretty hard to tell a dog how to pose--even when they're relatively well behaved! These two pals are so photogenic, they allow for some great candid canine shots!
